Edging is the process of removing the edge burr that is inherent is slit steel coil. This may be referred to as a ‘safety edge’. Horizon Steel can provide a de-burred, square, or round edge on steel thickness from .060” to .250”. Our edging line is equipped with a state of the art oscillate rewinder that allows us to recoil more linear feet onto a single spool compared to a traditional singlewind/pancake coil. An oscillate reel can reduce the amount of setup/changeover time required in your production process.
